Molberi products are made from the hands of artisans in Ban Ton Pao village in Chiang Mai, Thailand. From mothers to daughters to granddaughters, artisans use processes handed down for generations to use mulberry tree bark and banana trees to make paper. Years before the rest of the world began talking about being "green", our artisans already were. Living close to nature, they have a culture of respect for nature and her resources. Molberi is dedicated to helping sustain their way of life and culture of tradition.

Molberi is different! We are committed to providing you unique high quality products. By using tree free paper and helping sustain our artisan's communities, we are creating and fostering a long term partnership with a focus on Happy People and Happy Planet. We work with designers and artisans to create uniquely beautiful products that have style and function using eco-friendly materials and processes. We work with them to explore processes like using Thai herbs to create colored paper. And since we are one of the only companies with products made entirely by hand, you can be sure that the products have gone directly from her hand to yours. We have also launched the Molberi Fund for Sustainable Development to dedicate 5% of Molberi sales to artisans on top of the pay they received for their work.
